Sandeep Adhwaryu TOI Cartoonist Faces Backlash for his Hinduphobic Cartoon

In the recent shocking and horrific rape case in Ujjain, the 15-year old survivor had to walk 8km asking for help from door to door. It was Pandit (Acharya) Rahul Sharma from Dandi Gurukul Ashram who came forward to help the girl with clothes and called the police.

However, the Cartoonist, Sandeep Adhwaryu working for TOI didn’t hesitate to display his Hinduphobic mindset through his new cartoon. Although, Hinduism had nothing to do with the horrific incident and, moreover, the fact is it was Hindu Pandit Rahul Sharma of Dandi Gurukul Ashram who came to help the victim, the cartoonist didn’t hesitate to defame Hinduism.

What’s even more intriguing is that Sandeep Adhwaryu, who goes by the Twitter handle @CartoonistSan, wrongly incorporated the TOI logo into his personal work but later removed it. Additionally, in response to the growing outrage on Twitter, he posted a new cartoon showcasing Pandit Rahul Sharma being interviewed by reporters for helping the girl.
